Rock strumentale precario a cura di tre precari che precano di vedervi imprecare tutti. I Near the Blockhouse sono Antonio "WeiR" La Rocca (Chitarra, Synth – già Before We Die), Emanuele "Johnny" Venezia (Chitarra – già Diane and the Shell e Trioclit), e Saro Vecchio (Batteria). Le loro influenze, facilmente
riconoscibili e altamente contagiose sono: A h1n1, fasi lunari, cicli endemici.
Anno 2012: i Maya avrebbero passato il loro tempo toccando ferro e malefici amuleti.
Invece i tre precari registrano la loro prima demo, frutto di un instabile contratto Co.Co.Pro della durata di 6 mesi.
Il progetto musicale è ovviamente conforme alle nuove disposizioni in materia finanziaria. Diffidate dalle imitazioni.
